Lil Mauricio's Fundraiser

Anyone that has ever met my son knows just how outgoing and entertaining he is. He has the ability to bring smiles everywhere he goes. So when his 1st grade teacher suggested that we put him into acting, I did my research (with hesitation because I knew it was probably going to be pricey) and was pleasantly surprised to find BCT.

I was excited to find out that they offer partial and full scholarships 🤯. BCT knows that representation matters and they make sure that theatre isn't just for those with resources, but for EVERY child, regardless of their economic status, and that’s cool 😎

Second, I love how diverse the classes are. My son has all kinds of new friends because BCT brings children from different backgrounds together to learn and grow by putting on an original musical play. They have a space where kids can be courageous, take risks, express their feelings, and find their people… acting people 😏

I wish I had this when I was younger. I am so happy that it’s here now for my son 🙂

This fundraiser will help BCT to continue to offer scholarships which will allow more kids to be exposed to experiences that they otherwise may not be exposed to. It's because of people like you that they're able to make this possible... you're the real MVP 🤩
