BCT Board Fundraiser

Greetings!

BCT's Board of Directors has been challenged to beat the record of our youth fundraisers, gathering more than 128 donations during our Peer-2-Peer FALL INTO PLACES fundraiser. Can we do it???

Like the kids, we are celebrating how engaged our community is, rather than putting pressure on how much money is raised. A $1 donation counts! (But if you want to donate a million dollars, that's ok too! It goes to the kids!)

Here's where your money is going:

600 students at BCT annually, 80% on scholarship, 83% of the Global Majority.

Brooklyn Children's Theatre's mission is to empower youth through musical theatre, reimagining arts education by centering the whole child and prioritizing belonging and equity. We cultivate a collective of empathetic and creative young people who seek equity in every space they inhabit and are dedicated to building a brighter future for all.

We are intentional about dismantling barriers to traditional musical theatre education, prioritizing inclusion of children and teens, grades 1-12, from communities across Brooklyn and NYC who are of the Global Majority and/or from low-income and immigrant backgrounds. BCT represents Brooklyn, and our students see themselves reflected in the teaching artists who guide their experience. We offer children and young adults, regardless of their resources or background, opportunities to perform, write, create, train, and gain insight into potential life pathways, whether in the arts, in school, in their careers, or in their communities.

Thank you for investing in our youth!
