Help Zelda and BCT bring Arts Education to ALL

Zelda LOVES dressing up and putting on a show at home, but this fall she is going pro and joining Brooklyn Children’s Theatre incredible MainStage Program for the first time!

Zelda is meeting weekly with a cast to rehearse a mini musical called Diamond Dilemma that was written over the summer by high school students in BCT’s playwriting program. Zelda is LOVING the class and the rehearsal process and is SO excited because in January, she will make her acting debut! She and her cast will have the chance to perform the musical for a real live audience on a real stage at the Brooklyn Music School!

Zelda’s participation in this incredible experience would not be possible without BCT’s amazing scholarship program. BCT’s mission is to empower youth through musical theatre, reimagining arts education by centering the whole child and prioritizing belonging and equity. Raising funds is essential to BCT’s goals, as it allows for scholarships and opportunities for students that would otherwise not be able to participate in such empowering youth arts programs.

Your donation makes a difference! Thank you for supporting Zelda, BCT, and helping bring theatre arts to ALL children!
