Brooklyn Children’s Theatre empowers youth through musical theatre, reimagining arts education by centering the whole child and prioritizing belonging and equity.
BCT creates a theatrical family and safe space for students, in an environment of kindness and acceptance, where even kids from the most difficult of circumstances can find their voices.
The team at BCT knows that representation matters and they make sure that theatre isn't just for those with resources, but for EVERY child, regardless of their economic status.
77% of students attend BCT on scholarship.

This is Daniel’s first semester at BCT!
Daniel says: BCT is fun because it gives us time to express our feelings outside of school and home. I like to take that time to learn, make friends, and express myself.
