Ada Martin BCT Fundraiser

Hi! This is Ada’s second show with Brooklyn Children’s Theatre, which I (Ada’s dad) love because it puts on plays written by schoolkids that center giving everyone a voice – there are no lead actors, there are no extras, everyone has an equal role in the show.

Also, BCT gives out a ton of scholarships that help give any kid who's interested in acting some experience acting. This chunk is from how BCT describes itself:

BCT empowers children through musical theatre, reimagining arts education by centering the whole child and prioritizing belonging and equity.

BCT provides a space where kids can be courageous, take risks, express their feelings, and find “their people.”

Students begin to tap into their full potential in BCT’s theatrical family, expanding their worlds and concepts of what is possible.
